Credit card cramming is the use of the credit card by an entity other than the owner without the owners express permission. Credit card cramming can be done by identity thieves or even by companies. Criminals may often use your credit card number to make small purchases so that they go unnoticed. The fraudsters may even copy your buying habits so that everything appears normal to you on the statement and credit report. However, credit card cramming can become a pain in the neck if it cannot be detected or if deceitfully executed by a company.
