5 Premium Credit Cards

Premium credit cards are those that are suitable for people with money to burn and very few people are offered such credit cards. The credit score also has a role to play in whether or not you qualify for a premium credit card along with factors such as your annual income and length of credit history. These cards have a very high annual fee but offer perks and other benefits in the form of upgraded service levels.

Premium credit cards are seldom made available to consumers and about only one percent of American Express customers have the American Express Platinum card. Moreover, only one percent of these Platinum card holders have been offered the Centurion card. This goes to show that the card is available only for people from higher financial echelons.

The American Express Centurion. This card comes with an annual fee of $1000 (US) but offers other perks and benefits that recuperate this amount within a period of time. This sleek card was launched in October 1999 by American Express and offers travel points and rewards and is good for frequent travelers.

The Visa Signature. The Visa Signature card is one of the best cards that this company has to offer and comes with numerous benefits such as discounts on travel, hotels, events, shopping, and provides gifts from time to time. Typically these offers are in addition to the normal services provided by these cards such as auto rental collision damage waiver, lost luggage reimbursement, roadside dispatch, and other numerous benefits.

World MasterCard. World MasterCard has no pre-set expenditure maximum value which gives you the advantage of added spending authority should you ever require it. Consumers can have the benefit of augmented buying elasticity as long as they pay in full the amount that exceeds their revolving credit line on their billing statement every month.

The Visa Black Card. This card has an annual fee of over $495 (US) and comes with a concierge service clubbed with other benefits such as points and rewards. The interest rates are 13.99% for normal transactions and 19.99% for cash advances. However the figures may have changed so it is better to double check with the website and the company for up-to-date interest rates.

The Black MasterCard. The Black MasterCard is offered to elite clients of the issuing financial institutions. It is presented to only those individuals with extremely good credit ratings. Black MasterCard presents soaring purchasing limits and exceptional benefits entirely to the cardholder. The card also comes with services such as auto rental collision damage insurance, accidental death insurance, emergency medical aid, and access to the VIP lounge in more than 75 airports.
